We have no influence on the amount of data that Google collects with the button. According to Google, no personal data is collected without clicking on the button. When a user visits a web page which contains such a button, a direct connection to the Twitter servers is made. The content of the Twitter buttons is transmitted from Twitter directly to the user’s browser. The Vendor, therefore, has no control on the amount of data that Twitter uses for this plugin and informs the user accordingly. After this, the IP address of the user is only transmitted with the URL of the relevant website in terms of buttons, but not for other purposes, as the representation of the buttons used.
