SPEED AND PRECISION
The Section 5 relies on the proven Future-C shape, enhanced especially for this model. Thanks to its moderate aspect ratio, it flies super-fast and direct, remaining optimally noticeable and controllable in every turn. This tuning is rounded off with an incomparably precise pressure point.

STIFF AIR FRAME.
The high-quality special dacron remains low-stretch in all directions – even under extreme forces. Thanks to an elaborate annealing and coating process, ExoTex 2 achieves an extremely high tensile strength and is still lightweight. Due to intelligent volume distribution, the Section 5 has more stability in the wingtips and an overall faster turning and flight behavior.
CORETEX 2® TRIPLE RIPSTOP CANOPY

FULL CONTROL
The CoreTex® 2 canopy, developed exclusively for CORE, is particularly robust and stiffened thanks to a triple reinforcing thread and a special coating process. CoreTex 2 sets the standard in breaking strength, tear resistance, longevity, UV protection, and elongation. Experience the tight, crisp, and signature feel that only a CoreTex kite delivers.
EXOTEX® LIGHT STRUTS
LIGHTER. JUST AS ROBUST
While the ultra-resistant ExoTex 2 is used for the leading edge, the struts are made of ExoTex Light. Incorporating a radial thread pattern and emulsion (protective coating) process that reduces mass by approximately ten percent. This combination saves weight, optimizes turning behavior and increases drift ability.
Surf Profile
STABLE DRIFT AND HIGH TURNING PLEASURE
The lowest point of the profile is further back, and the aspect ratio is lower than that of the Nexus 4. This increases the drift efficiency of the Section 5.
SHORT PULLEY-BRIDLE SYSTEM
CRISP AND CLEAN TURNS
The Section 5 retains its short pulley bridles for an extremely smooth turn, an ultra-direct character that translates into optimal feedback at the bar and responds to control commands without delay. Thanks to the Pulley-Bridle and Future C Shape, you always have the choice of the exact pivot point. Pull tight loops in aggressive turns without being pulled off the board or choose a slightly wider radius for a more powerful kiteloop for example as eject button in the wave breaking above you.
CIT MODES
ADJUST IT TO THE WIND CONDITIONS
Our CIT Modes calibrate the Section to wind direction. Three, anti-snag bridle attachment points make kite adjustments for onshore wind, all-round conditions, and offshore wind. The onshore setting sits the kite deeper in the wind window, giving it more grunt and better drift. The offshore setting sits the kite more forward in the wind window, giving it higher depower and faster forward speed.
Turning speed and steering feel is a matter of choice. Your choice. With three adjustable back line connection points, our quick adjusting trim system gives you the freedom to further customize your bar feel and turning speed to suit your style. So go ahead and play with your trim settings and find your inner wave ninja.
